This was my first big project, i worked with 5 programmers, 6 artists, 3 designers and 1 project manager to create a great game that will participate in the GDWC of 2023.
In this project i was in charge of many things, first i started creating the weapons and bullets for Andara and the enemies, then i had to create a pool for all the bullets so we wouldn't end with a memory problem by creating and deleting actors. Also related with the bullets i had to work with the collisions of them with everything in the game configuring them with Unreal engine tools and also making sure by code that they work as we wanted.
When i finished that, i started to design a music system for our game since Unreal engine 4 does not offer a proper system to use. I worked with some musicians from Berklee to design the best system we could do to enhance the ambient of the game. I also had to work with sound effects to improve the player experience.
In the last month i had to create a kind of a ingame portfolio gallery for our artists work so anyone that wanted to see the animations and models could take a look of them in an interactive menu with the name of every artist who made the model and the animations of each enemy and Andara. In this month i also worked making a cinematic for this menu to make it more visual.
